What does it mean if my car is in Transit?

If your vehicle is in transit, it means a designation for vehicles that have come off the assembly line but have not yet arrived at the dealership. Depending where the model line is produced the vehicle can arrive at the dealership within 3-30 days. If you head to our website at Competition Subaru, under new vehicles these vehicles will be listed “In Transit” until they have arrived at our dealership.

What does in Transit mean for a Factory Order?

If you purchase a vehicle that is not in stock our dealer may be able to custom order from the factory. Once your vehicle is built in the factory it waits to be delivered. Once the vehicle leaves the factory then it is considered “In Transit.” Your Sales Consultant will then provide you with updates on the status of your vehicle.
