Nancy Buzzetta is a professional in Automotive Retail recently celebrating 30  years of work at the Competition Automotive Group (CAG), where she is a managing partner. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the  University of Vermont in Business Administration with a concentration in  Accounting. Prior to joining the family’s Automotive business, Nancy worked in the banking and accounting industries and earned her CPA certification from the Vermont  State board of accountancy. Concurrent with her professional career, she has worked in pursuit of her other passions; wellness, fitness, equestrian sports, and animal welfare. Nancy enjoys an active role in the oversight of the CAG, which currently spans 5  franchised dealerships featuring the brands of Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter Vans,  BMW, Subaru and Genesis. The company employs more than 500 people on Long Island. When not at work, Nancy loves spending time at home with her husband, Pablo  Triana, her children, and many pets including 6 rescue dogs! They love to travel and spend time in the great outdoors. She was born with a passion for horses and rides almost every morning. She is a competitive equestrian at the national level and competes at some of the largest and most prestigious shows in the country. She recently won a top 10 placing in a national championship class as well as earning multiple placings at the 2023 National Horse Show. In addition to her interest in helping animals, Nancy is involved with a number of other local organizations including Three Village School District’s Industry  Advisory Board, Old Field Farm Ltd of Setauket, Celebrate St. James, Paws of  War, and Pawsitive Possibilities dog and cat rescue; as well she serves on the  Retailer Advisory Board for Subaru Distributors Corporation. Nancy and her team at CAG are working to decrease the company’s environmental footprint one step at a time. The CAG recycles almost all shop output and is working on an internal education program to help our team to minimize waste at the stores. The CAG has one solar array already working and is hoping to add to it in 2024. In addition, CAG participates in the One Tree  Planted initiative. Nancy has long been a believer that the key to the continued success of the  CAG relies heavily upon our reputation in the community, and is committed to provision of an outstanding client experience.

With 15 years in the automotive industry - all of them proudly representing Subaru, Nino brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Competition Auto Group team. Over the past six years at CAG, he has held key roles including Sales Representative, Sales Manager, and currently General Sales Manager. What drives him most is the opportunity to lead, motivate, and inspire the sales team every day. Outside of work, Nino enjoys quality time with his wife and three children, catching up on movies and shows, cooking up some new recipes, and cheering on the Yankees, Knicks, and Giant!

For nearly 9 years, Justin has been a valued member of Competition Automotive Group, with over 6 of those years dedicated to Competition Subaru. During that time, he has held key roles as both Finance Manager and Sales Manager.

Justin’s passion for the automotive industry is matched by his strong commitment to customer satisfaction. He takes pride in being part of a team that consistently delivers exceptional experiences to every guest.

Originally from Havana, Cuba, Nelson brings a wealth of experience in operations management and high-end hospitality to his role as Used Car Manager at Competition Subaru. That vibrant upbringing, combined with his extensive experience, shines through in his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering a premium, transparent customer experience. Nelson works tirelessly to curate a premier inventory of pre-owned vehicles, ensuring every car on our lot meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and value. He believes that buying a pre-owned vehicle should come with the exact same excitement and first-class service as buying a brand-new one. Chris Barcelo serves as the Service Manager at Competition Subaru, where he brings more than 15 years of automotive experience and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Since joining Competition Auto Group in 2018, Chris has dedicated himself to elevating both the customer experience and the performance of his team. Having worked with multiple brands, he has found his true professional home with Subaru, where the culture of quality and care matches his own approach. Chris believes that continuous improvement is the backbone of lasting success. He focuses first on the customer experience, building and refining service processes around what matters most to drivers and their families. A strong believer in transparency and trust, he considers a customer recommendation the ultimate measure of accomplishment. Equally passionate about leadership, Chris is a proven team builder who consistently develops talent from the ground up. He has a track record of transforming entry-level employees into seasoned professionals through coaching, training, and hands-on guidance. His management style blends professionalism with approachability, earning respect from both customers and colleagues. With over 32 years of experience in the automotive industry, I’ve had the privilege of spending the last 23 years representing the Subaru brand and celebrating 15 years with Competition Subaru this July. My journey has included a variety of roles—from Biller, Bookkeeper, and Office Manager to Sales, where I’ve found my true passion. What I enjoy most is building long-term relationships with my customers and getting to know their families and friends along the way. With 35 years in the automotive industry and 8 years proudly representing Subaru, I’ve built a career rooted in customer care and connection. Over the years, I’ve held positions in Sales and as an Assistant Sales Manager, always striving to make the car-buying experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable.

What I love most about my job is the opportunity to help others and bring a smile to someone’s face - it’s what keeps me passionate about what I do.

Outside of work, I enjoy biking and, most importantly, spending time with my children and grandchildren. I also have a lifelong love for music — after playing in a rock band for many years, I still enjoy picking up the drums or guitar whenever I get the chance.

I've been with Competition Subaru since March 2021. I'm a proud husband and father of three teenage girls. I've been playing piano for over 40 years and am a lifelong, die-hard fan of the Mets, Jets, and Knicks.

Thomas Santoro has been within the automotive industry since 1983! He has been with Competition Subaru of Smithtown since December of 2022 and is always available to help you and answer any and all questions about our efficient Service Department or about your favorite Subaru vehicle! Tommy is so passionate about his job and loves watching his co-workers success alongside him. His favorite part of his job is helping our newer Service Advisors succeed within their careers to help make our Service Department as professional and speedy as possible! I’ve been in the automotive industry for 3 years, all of which I’ve proudly spent with Competition Subaru as a Customer Advocate. While my time in the car business may be recent, I’ve spent nearly 30 years working directly with customers - and I’ve learned just how unique, interesting, and wonderful people truly are. Helping customers and creating positive experiences is something I genuinely enjoy.

My passion for cars comes from my hero - my father, Cheo - who is still a mechanic at 75 years old. Growing up, I watched him build and race street cars in the Bronx, and that love for the automotive world stuck with me. To this day, walking through the Subaru service department each morning brings back those memories, the smells, the sounds - it all reminds me of him.

Outside of work, I love sports and cherish time spent with my family and friends. My kids make me so proud, and my grandkids are simply amazing. And one day soon… the Subaru BRZ will be mine - it’s definitely my favorite!

I’ve been in the automotive industry for 9½ years - all of them proudly spent with the same brand and at Competition Automotive Group. During that time, I’ve held roles as a Service Cashier and BDC Consultant, gaining valuable experience and building strong connections with both customers and coworkers.

What I enjoy most about my job is being a problem solver and helping customers. There’s something really rewarding about being able to assist and make someone’s day a little easier.

Outside of work, I love all things creative - from crafting and gardening to exploring antique shops. I’m also an avid reader in a local book club and enjoy going out to dinner with friends and family whenever I can.

With over 11 years of experience in the automotive industry - including the last 4 proudly serving in the BDC Service Department at Subaru - Donna brings a passion for helping people to everything she does. Known for her friendly demeanor and dedication to customer care, she’s a valued member of the team. Outside of work, Donna loves cooking, spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, watching sports, and relaxing with the Hallmark Channel.
