October is Subaru Loves Pets month, and we’re celebrating by giving back to shelter pets in need. Through the end of the month, Subaru is donating $10 to the ASPCA® for every Genuine Subaru Pet-friendly Accessory sold online*! The amount raised will add to the $30+ million donated to animal welfare organizations since the inception of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative.

Subaru Loves Pets

A core principle of our Subaru Loves Pets initiative is an ongoing commitment to help all pets find their perfect, loving home. We stand by this commitment through a scale of actions; from supporting local pet-adoption efforts to being the ASPCA’s largest corporate donor. Subaru is proud to have donated over $30 million to support the adoption, rescue, transport, and health of more than 250,000 animals.

This October, we’re amplifying our love of pets by ramping up helpful initiatives during our annual Subaru Loves Pets month. We’ll continue our long-standing commitment to help shelter dogs—especially those with special needs like the older, deaf, blind, and “different” dogs that we lovingly call the “Underdogs”—get adopted. Subaru and its retailers (like us) will help support over 600 local shelters across the country by donating $100 for every pet adopted during October**.

National Make A Dog’s Day

Mark your calendars—for the third year in a row, Subaru will celebrate our National Make A Dog’s Day on October 22. This is a day where we encourage all dog lovers to do something extra special for their dogs. This day, combined with Subaru Loves Pets Month efforts, has helped many pets find loving homes—including thousands of incredible Underdogs.
