The Hyundai Venue is equipped with an inline 4, 1.6 liter engine that can generate 121 horsepower with 113 pounds of torque. It can accelerate from zero to sixty in about ten seconds. The Subaru Crosstrek is equipped with a flat 4, 2.5 liter engine that can generate 182 horsepower with 176 pounds of torque, enabling it to go from zero to sixty in eight seconds.
The Bottom Line
Though both SUVs carry the same number of passengers and are similarly priced, they are worlds apart when it comes to performance and safety, with the Subaru crushing the Venue for both metrics, which makes it the winner.
