What does it mean if my car is in Transit? If your vehicle is in transit, it means a designation for vehicles that have come off the assembly line but have not yet arrived at the dealership. Depending where the model line is produced the vehicle can arrive at the dealership within 3-30 days. If you head to our website at Competition Subaru, under new vehicles these vehicles will be listed “In Transit” until they have arrived at our dealership. What does in Transit mean for a Factory Order? If you purchase a vehicle that is not in stock our dealer may be able to custom order from the factory. Once your vehicle is built in the factory it waits to be delivered. Once the vehicle leaves the factory then it is considered “In Transit.” Your Sales Consultant will then provide you with updates on the status of your vehicle.

Travis Pastrana Successful Athlete Travis Pastrana has dominated rallying in the U.S. from 2006-2009. He has driven a Subaru Rally car from the beginning of his career and has won four consecutive championships with Subaru Rally Team USA. In 2017 Pastrana won his fifth nation rally title at the 2017 inaugural ARA championship. Pastrana is also a record holder for hill climb competitions. In 2017 he dominated the Mount Washington Hill Climb in New Hampshire, setting new records. Pastrana was driving a 600-horsepower Vermont Sportscar-prepared Subaru WRX STI on one of the most challenging race venues in the country. He completed the 7.6-mile climb in 5min and 44s breaking the previous record by more than 20 seconds. Thanks to participating Subaru retailers and animal-loving customers and supporters, the October 2020 Subaru Loves Pets adoption initiative found loving homes for 22,961 shelter pets. The Subaru Loves Pets 2020 campaign highlighted hard-to-adopt shelter dogs, also known as “Underdogs.” The hard-to-adopt shelter dogs included dogs with special needs, specifically senior dogs, amputees, visually and hearing-impaired dogs, and dogs with congenital disabilities and physical challenges. In October of 2020, Subaru launched the second annual National Make a Dog’s Day on October 22nd to support shelter animals. Basic Vehicle Maintenance Check Tire Pressure & Tread Wear Most tire damage and wear is a result of driving on tires that are improperly inflated. Tires that contain the specified amount of air pressure last longer and contribute to vehicle safety. Tires that are not properly inflated can lead to poor traction and an increase in rolling resistance. Frequent tire rotations are essential to the life of your tires. You should also check to see if your brakes make a grinding noise or if your stopping distance has increased. Check The Exhaust & Battery If you notice any unusual noises, it could indicate that your exhaust system may be damaged or have leaks. Exhaust leaks can be dangerous and must be corrected right away. A battery check will inform you if the connection is corrosion-free, tight, and clean. The battery should be securely mounted. If it is three years old or more, the battery should be tested and replaced if necessary.
