Subaru Loves to Care Month, 2023: Bringing Warmth, Love, and Support to Those in Need
In the spirit of compassion and generosity, Subaru is proud to present its annual Subaru Loves to Care Month for 2023, an initiative that extends warmth, love, and relief to individuals and families facing cancer. As the largest automotive donor to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS), Subaru has already made an incredibly significant impact on the lives of cancer patients across the nation. Subaru’s commitment to making a difference does not stop there. In addition to their national partnership with The LLS, Competition Subaru of Smithtown is dedicated to supporting the Guide Dog Foundation, a non-profit organization that breeds, trains, and provides guide dogs to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Together, we can make a profound impact on the lives of those in need.
During Subaru Loves to Care Month, from June 1-30 of 2023, Subaru and LLS invite you to visit LLS.org/subaru to contribute to the support of blood cancer patients. Every dollar you donate during this period will be generously matched by Subaru, dollar for dollar, up to a total of $150,000. By joining this initiative, you can directly impact the lives of those affected by cancer, providing them with the support and resources they need during their challenging journey. Subaru and its retailers are partnering with LLS and local hospitals or cancer treatment centers to provide comfort and encouragement to patients facing cancer. Subaru stores nationwide are inviting retailers and customers to write messages of hope and support, accompanied by warm blankets, which will be delivered to patients. These heartfelt gestures aim to remind individuals that they are not alone during their journey and that a community of caring individuals stand by their side during these difficult times.
In addition to supporting cancer patients, Subaru recognizes the importance of providing independence and companionship to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. That’s why Competition Subaru of Smithtown has partnered with the Guide Dog Foundation. The foundation is a leading provider of guide dogs in the United States. They’ve been in operation for over 70 years and have placed over 10,000 guide dogs with visually impaired individuals. The foundation’s breeding, training, and placement programs are all highly rigorous, and the foundation is committed to providing the highest quality of service to its clients. These remarkable dogs empower visually impaired individuals, enhancing their mobility, and improving their quality of life, and Competition Subaru is confident that the partnership will help to make a positive impact on the lives of many people.
Subaru Loves to Care Month provides warmth, love, and support to those facing cancer and visual impairment. Through partnerships with organizations such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS), Make-A-Wish® America, Dining Out for Life International, and Competition Subaru of Smithtown partnering with The Guide Dog Foundation, Subaru showcases its unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those in need. By participating in Subaru Loves to Care, you can play a vital role in making a difference, bringing support, and companionship to individuals and families during challenging times. Together, let’s create a brighter future, one act of kindness at a time.
