First Year Owning a Subaru

The first year of owning your Subaru has a huge impact on how your vehicle will perform in the following years. It is highly recommended to schedule at least 2 service appointments during the first year of ownership.

6 Months

Once you have owned your Subaru for 6 months or you have reached 6,000 miles we highly recommend scheduling a service appointment. Our highly trained technicians will:

• Exchange Engine Oil
• Replace Oil Filter
• Inspect and Rotate Tires

12 Months

Once you have owned your Subaru for a year or your vehicle reaches 12,000 miles we recommend scheduling your 12,000-mile service. Our highly trained technicians will:

• Inspect Steering & Suspension, Brakes, and Clutch Operation
• Rotate and Inspect Tires
• Replace Engine Oil and Oil Filter
• Replace Rear Differential Gear Oil
• Replace A/C Filter 

 

Depending on your driving habits and how often you drive your vehicle, you may come across certain instances where you need to set up special service appointments. Subaru recommends getting an oil change every 6 months or 6,000 miles however you may burn oil faster than others. Keep an eye out for warning signs such as loud engine noises or oil change warning lights. These factors can also impact other parts of your vehicle.
